If you have a rare disease you can take part in the 100,000 Genomes Project if:
- You don’t already have a genetic diagnosis for your condition or
- You have one of the rare diseases listed in the Approved Conditions.
These help clinicians to work out if you would benefit from joining the project. Genomics England regularly updates this list, so if your condition isn’t on the list it may be in the future. Your hospital doctor and NHS clinical care team will be happy to talk through the process with you.
