The programme consists of a suite of postgraduate or individual CPPD modules in Genomic Medicine, suitable for NHS healthcare professionals, biotech/pharmaceutical sector professionals, and those interested in a career in healthcare.
The courses provide professionally relevant teaching and learning, equipping students with the knowledge they need to integrate genomic technologies and information into their patient care.
Funding is available from HEE for NHS staff to undertake modules and awards from the programme.

It is from Health Education England that is sponsoring these courses. These courses are worth up to £1000 each but you are being sponsored by Health Education England, so it will be free when you apply funding for it. All NHS staff members can apply for these courses, since it is free for them.
But these courses are mainly based for medical staff for example; they are aimed for Nurse, Midwifery, doctors, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals, Dentist, Health Care Scientist and researchers.
Some Genomic Medicine Centre do these courses online while some doesn’t for example the course in East of England can only be done physically in institutions like Cambridge University. These courses last a week time with additional work done by the individual at home, but if you want to do them as postgraduate degree then it is going to be a whole full time or two years part-time.
