Studying Genomic Medicine in Cambridge As part of Health Education England’s national Genomic Education Programme, the University of Cambridge, in partnership with Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (WTSI) and European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), has developed the Cambridge Genomic Medicine Programme.
The programme consists of a suite of postgraduate modules in Genomic Medicine, suitable for NHS healthcare professionals, biotech/pharmaceutical sector professionals, and those interested in a career in healthcare.
The courses provide professionally relevant teaching and learning, equipping students with the knowledge they need to integrate genomic technologies and information into their patient care.Modules can be taken individually as part of a postgraduate award. Funding is available from HEE for NHS staff to undertake modules and awards from the programme.
